Below you will find detailed information about the admissions process provided by the local council.
Application to Primary 2024/2025
The deadline for Primary 2024 applications was Monday 15th January 2024 and has now passed.
Parents/carers wishing to make an application are now required to complete the Late Primary Application Form 2025 or you can visit any of the Halton Direct Link Offices to request one. Forms can also be obtained by emailing schooladmissions@halton.gov.uk

Application to Primary 2025/2026
The application closing date for places in September 2025 will be Wednesday 15th January 2025.
Reception
For a place in Reception, an application has to be made to Halton Local Authority. The deadline for an application is 15th January 2023. Please click on this link to complete an application and for further details.
Appeals
If you have been unsuccessful and wish to make a formal appeal, please visit the Halton Bourough School Admission Appeals page.
In-year Transfers
Please fill out an application form if you want to transfer to the school throughout the academic year. The school follows in-year transfer protocols in line with updated policies from Halton Local Authority.
